Privacy Policy

UDCAP.org (Universal Digital Content Attribution Protocol), operated by Gambrell Software, LLC, is designed with a privacy-first approach across both its protocol specification and its consortium governance activities.

Protocol-Level Privacy

UDCAP is a protocol specification, not a custodial platform. It does not require user accounts, does not maintain user profiles, and does not store personal financial information.

The protocol operates through publicly available mechanisms such as domain-level DNS records and embedded metadata within digital content. Attribution and wallet references are defined and controlled by content owners or domain operators.

UDCAP does not custody funds, process payments directly, or store wallet balances. Any payment routing enabled by the protocol occurs through external systems (e.g., blockchain networks or payment processors) outside the control of UDCAP.org.

Consortium and Governance Activities

As UDCAP evolves into a consortium, participation may involve voluntary submission of information such as organization details, contact information, domain ownership verification, and voting or governance activity.

This information is used solely to support consortium operations, including member identification, communication, voting integrity, and governance processes.

Where applicable, domain-based verification (e.g., DNS records) may be used to establish identity and voting eligibility without requiring centralized account systems.

Data Collection and Usage

UDCAP.org collects only minimal information necessary to operate the website and consortium services, such as basic technical data (e.g., IP address, browser type) for security, performance, and abuse prevention.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties. We do not track users across websites, and we do not use personal data for advertising or profiling.

Public Data Considerations

Users should be aware that certain data used by the protocol—such as DNS records or embedded attribution metadata—may be publicly accessible by design. UDCAP does not control how third parties access or use publicly available data.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the limited data associated with website and consortium operations. Access is restricted to authorized systems and personnel where required.

By using this website or participating in consortium activities, you acknowledge and accept this Privacy Policy. We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in the protocol, governance structure, or applicable requirements. Continued use constitutes acceptance of any updates.
